LA HERMENÉUTICA ANALÓGICA DE AMÉRICA LATINA Y SU RELEVANCIA EN LA FILOSOFÍA Y LA TEOLOGÍA

Resumen

It is the purpose of this paper to present a third hermeneutical stream the one that is called "analogical hermeneutics". It was founded by the Mexican philosopher Mauricio Beuchot. In what follows, I will attempt to stay clase to Beuchot 's text in arder to explain his propasal with utmost clarity. Thereafter, I will review sorne of the criticism that has been levelled at it. In the Introduction to his Treatise on Analogical Hermeneutics: towards a new model of interpretation, Beuchot lays bare the aim of his propasal, none other than to be seen "as an alternative between univocism and equivocism "
