Resumen

In his work on rhetoric: The New Rhetoric. A Treatise on argumentation, Chaim Perelman and Lucie Olbrechts-Tyteca approach the study of argumentation and its relationship with two purposes, namely, to persuade and convince. The focus of this study is exploratory, so deal with the tapie under the guidance of sorne questions like: What is the difference between persuade and convince? How does the argumentative process in both cases? What is the role of the audience in exercises discursive seeking to persuade and convince?, What are the problems of separation between persuade and convine e?
