LA CONTRIBUCIÓN DE LA IGLESIA EN EL DESARROLLO SOCIOPOLÍTICO VENEZOLANO DESDE INICIOS DEL SIGLO XX HASTA 1958

Resumen

The development of the ecclesiastical institution during the XIXth century, reflects and gets its feed-back from the main socioeconomic and cultural process experienced by Venezuela through the century. In this stage, knowed is the Ecclesiastical History as the Restoration, because it recovers ("restares") much of the lost power during the Guzmancism, contributed, against what it was imagined by its religious and liberal opponents, to the global modernization of the society, in areas such as education, health the territory control and even the shaping of democracy. This paper has as an objective to contribute with a general vision ofthe process.
