Resumen

In this paper, the author analyzes and contextualizes historically the phenomenon of Protestant Reformation in Basel. The article lacuses on the person of a little-known reformer: John OE colampadius, and emphasizes the influence of his personality and political factors in the success of the "riots" protestants. Finally, it analyzes OE colampadius relations with other great reformers and the frontal intervention of Carlos V befare the advance of the Reformation in Basel
