LA IGLESIA CATÓLICA EN LA SEGUNDA MITAD DEL SIGLO XX Y EN NUESTRO PRESENTE

Resumen

At the beginning of the 20th century the Catholic church in Venezuela sets to a strong process of institutional restoration that is going to stage very soon its influence and thought in the lije of the Republic. The growth of this church set the pace in the first place in the educational ground consolidating itself as the first national institution on this field, through a wide web of schools spread throughout the whole territory and bonded by a domestic association born in 1945 by the name of AVEC. Later on the process is consolidated by the foundation of Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, and afterwards, by the mid 50's it spreads out to other society social groups with the birth of Fe y Alegría. The other two big areas of influence, especially since the second half of the 20th century are social and polítical ground. In social field the Catholic church will overcome many social suitable processes ali over the world.
