Resumen

The author attempts to prove that, by his teaching on person and act, St. John Paul 11 implicitly contributes in resolving probably the most serious problem of philosophy, which consists in separating wisdom from !ove and treating wisdom as a philosophical "pro-choice" option. The author concludes that John Paul 11 makes a persuasive contribution to recover philosophy as the !ove of wisdom by identifying truth in the area of freedom, self-fulfillment and conscience, and by appealing to the man 's reason, honesty and happiness.
