Resumen

The following paper s theme is dedicated to Aristotle s analysis of goodness (eudaimonia) and its relations to the meaning of aim or purpose from the moral virtue s point of view. These considerations take a good deal of attention on Aristotle s thoughts about moral philosophy whereby most importan! analysis refers to the matter of good living. Therefore, starting from a consideration of Platos idea of well-being (goodness) and its lack of content, Aristotle will criticize it by stating its own idea of the meaning of goodness and/or happiness for the man in an specific situation. The Greek Philosopher will start his own investigation by searching the goal s or purpose a characteristics, man s function and its links with our own human nature so as to examine how these three ideas are parts of and build up the notion of good living.
