Resumen

This paper develops some difficulties that meet those who try to consolidate a just society with acceptable levels of welfare; since we often have clear the goals, but get entangled in a puzzle when trying to find the way out. A basic condition to get our objective is to produce more, ant to distrib-ute fairly the products of work. Jt is difficult to understand the importance of productive effort in a country that lives from the rent of oil, but distribution without production leads to ruin. Specialized education allows to generate more and better products, and to obtain higher wages. Besides that, efficiency and justice work better through regulations on private property than through its elimina-tion. Taking aside economic systems, consecrated Christian lije helps its members to promote a new world, by their dedication and their ideals of justice, but they should avoid missing intermediate goals that can be achieved, in their search for an ideal that cannot be reached.
