Resumen

This paper pretends to present the possible work that nowadays can have History for the professional philosopher. Such is the work advanced by Lyotard, whose pretense of knowledge goes beyond the understanding of the mere present. The task will be centered in assuming texts as tools which help us to understand our present, instead of offering the infallibility of the same ones.
