This paper focuses on sorne of the most important aspects of Hannah Arendt's contribution to the theory of Deliberative Democracy; namely: education of values, rejlexive and communicative judgment, and civic republicanism. My purpose is to emphasize that, according to this outstanding Jewish philosopher, the fundamental task of political deliberation is to determine the validity and feasibility criteria required by citizenship democracy, not only to achieve a normative integration of society, but also to guarantee an active and equal participation of its members.
