Resumen

-- Building a new social pact in Venezuela is perhaps the most transcendent task to which as a society we must advocate to give sustainability to the processes of transition and change that are to come at the end of this historical cycle. Building a new social pact is a matter of life and death. This differs from a simple conjunctural political agreement (political transition pact) or a collective decision supported through votes or a government program with popular support and recognized leaders. Ali this is necessary and is pending in the agenda of the deferred change processes in Venezuela. But a social pact is something substantially greater, which gives floor and legitimacy to these shortwave processes. The work seeks to deepen the concept ofthe Social Pact and its meanings, from what political theory tells us and from the requirements of our socio-historical process and the curren! situation of the country.
