Resumen

Our America is living the paradox of being a multicultural and multiethnic region; however, its globalizing structures and symbols are expressions of just the West. For example, the appellative 'Latin' America. We are entering into an age, the third, where a growing number of our people belonging to non-Western cultures (like indigenous, Afro-Latin, and those living in rural and suburban areas) do not accept being identified with the Western symbols; even more, they push so that Latin America does not continue using only the Western globalizing structures and symbols, and rather its multi-cultural structure might be recognized as something belonging to a symbiotic justice and interaction. We proclaim that he who resists this historie movement, resists the God of Jesus. Of course, it is fair to discuss from the inside on how to do it, but to oppose it is not legitimate. An important aid in this direction will be that peoplec belonging to those cultures have a deep Christian experience, so that they learn how to inculturate Christianity into their respective cultures.
