Resumen

Under the formative directions of Fr. Pedro Trigo, S. J, Professor Tulio Álvarez approaches the «option for the poor» in the Liberation Theology context. This is a personal reassessment trying determínate, through an appreciation of human relationships, the role that should be played in overcoming structural weaknesses of society and the fight against exclusion. This ejfort involves a process of humanization that starts with making one's awareness of individual constraints and, on the bases of considering the actual integration with humans sujfering from poverty, undertaking a project to address the structural injustice that subjugates ali equally. In short, content that poses methodology that reflects intended to express ali that goes with this option.
