Resumen

More than forty years have passed since "Theology of liberation, Perspectives" was published. From that moment on, with the first part of this title a theological reflection is identified, as belonging to Latin America through authors like Jon Sobrino, Ignacio Ellacuria, Juan Luis Segundo, Pedro Trigo, Leonardo and Clodovis Boff, Pablo Richard, Hugo Assmann among others. In subsequent pages, we will deal with the life of the author who today is the Dominican friar Gustavo Gutierrez Merino and the works of said text . . He is considered the Father of liberation theology and we set forth in brief the core ideas of his philosophical thought, so in this way our attention is focused on the link which this author recognizes between this theological propasa! and Social Sciences.
