Resumen

--- What could the eschatological dimension of Jesus Christ scy to us as a society? The parousia and the universal judgment are
bonded to the Christological title "the Son of Man". Jesus certainly identifies himself as the Son of Man; the question is to determine
whatwas understood by it. According to historical investigation, Jesus is simply the Son of Man who will appear with the divine glory and who will sit at the right hand of God to administer justice and inaugurate the new lordship. However, just these elements don't make justice to a complex reality of the Son of Man which the Gospels present. Jesus as Son of Man is in the first place a person profoundly human who humanizes. He is one who absolutely rejects power as a means of realization and is a victim of it himself. His resurrection and manifestation at the right hand of God supposes the acknowledgement of the divine as a wcy of becoming a person that Jesus represents. A mode is converted in this manner as a model. A model which has to enter into history and is the criteria for judgment. From the perspective of Daniel 7, Jesus as the Son of Man represents the alternative of God in an inhuman history. He is our model to construct the society that we want.
