DESAFÍOS PASTORALES PARA LA IGLESIA EN VENEZUELA

Resumen

-- In this essay, the author describes the main pastoral challenges for the Catholic Church in Venezuela, in reference to the guidelines offered by the Plenary Council and the Conference of Aparecida. The most important challenge is to concretize the New Evangelization in our Country, according to the model proposed by the Plenary Council. The main defies are: pastoral conversion, permanent state of mission; spirituality of communion, Prophets of the Kingdom, inculturation of the Cospel and evangelization of the culture, assumption of the new pastoral model, christian communication oftemporal goods,pastoral planning in the service of communion, andformation ofthe believers, especial/y of the pastoral agents.
