Resumen

-- The present study describes the relationship between Christianfaith and political commitment. For this, we provide the source of the relationship between Christians and politics in the praxis of Jesus of Nazareth. From there, we analyze how the Church understands the political action of Christians in the contemporary world. From this perspective, we present the broad outlines of Christian political engagement, as a universal and generic program. We end our reflection locating the place of faith in the political agenda of Christian inspiration.
