He accepts this Documentas the adequate conceptual frame that can respond to our family realities from a pastoral point of view of the church. Assuming a scientific vis ion of our reality invites us .to welcome the actual Jorm of the families as a departure point of a pastoral attendance that is faithful to its christian responsability. From the experience of acceptance,families are conceived in relation of Gods desire. But walking incessantly towards this desire brings concrete pastoral challenges. As a significant example the author presents the problem of the stable popular concubines. A first step calls to an understandingofits proper sense in the own context ofthe Venezuelan popular culture. This reality is very different from the european way of understanding this social and cultural problem, and far from what it is established and recognized in the very own laws. After distinguishing between an static concubine anda dynamic one, the author accepts that, although this reality is not outside of the plan of God, it has not arrived at the ideal and wanted point, that must set out siempre. The author sustains that this Document of the Venezuelan s Church Plenary Council (Iglesia y Familia: presente y futuro) approved in august 2002, is paradigmatic, as much by its contentas by its method. Both intimately connected in arder to conform a harmonic unit that pretends to illuminate us adequately in the theological and pastoral implications of this reality within popular families in Venezuela.
