EL ESPAÑOL: UNA FASE EN LA EVOLUCIÓN DEL LATÍN

Resumen

The present study is twofold. Firstly we will show severa! hints of how Latin evolved along one thousand years as a living language. In a second moment we will focus on several peculiarities of Latin as was spoken in Hispania, to demonstrate that those same linguistic tendencies persisted along the centuries and characterize the present-day Spanish language, which may be termed as a phase in the general evolution of Latín.
