Resumen

-- We intend to expose an essay about the key aspects of globalization and marginality in Latin America and the Caribbean  ( ALC), written by the Jesuits,from a regional perspective and inspired by the dynamics of the incarnation. Befare the complexity and gravity
of the phenomenon there are many and different movements, organizations, institutions and people who try to give answers to the
problems generated by globalization and take advantage of the opportunities it brings to impela worthy life. Gaining such an objective depends on many dimensions. In its political aspects, it is necessary to recognize the absence of an alternative way. It is required an intellectual and practical effort to propase concrete forms of leading the process towards the systematic improvement of the quality of life. In the economic aspects, it is necessary the development far a worthy human life without risking the harmony with nature, as a source of vital resources. In the cultural dimension the challenge is focused in managing tensions between the cultural diversity and the participation in the global culture. The education has an historical opportunity at this moment. This it is an aspee! in which the Jesuits must make a serious rejlection and a special effort in arder to gain a clear commitment of its apostolic action.
