-- This article hopes to develop a historical understanding of what Venezuelans have done or thought about democracy from 1958 until today jrom the Christian point ofview. We know that 90% of the Venezuelan population declares themselves Christians; this means that this paper requires a tremendous amount of work. Hence the paper wouldjollow those who have left the best signs about the relationship between their faith and the doctrine ofthe Church (or of their churches) with the ideas and política! actions they profess and implement. Those will be the politicians, thinkers and religious thinkers.
