REFLEXIONES ABIERTAS EN TORNO A LA ESCATOLOGÍA Y LOS SIGNOS DE LOS TIEMPOS

Resumen

--  This essay was written as a preliminary Paper to be discussed during a Professor's Research Seminary gathered at the Faculty of Theology. The purpose is to outline sorne basic ideas on contemporary Eschatology and its relationship with the notion of "Signs of the Times". Many ofthe issues here presented are still open to a broader discussion. The notion of "Signs of the Times" must be assumed asan invitation to "be vigilant'' and "aware", rather than "wait" for the coming of possible apocalyptic events. lt should lead us towards an historical praxis that transforms our current situation taking care ofits ultimate and radical meaning.
