Resumen

-- Bearing in mind the various aspects or dimensions of the Book of Micah, we shall start by considering the most objective one: its literary aspect, with its vocabulary, its formation or composition, and its structure. Next, we shall look briefly at its historical, geographical, and chronological perspectives, by presenting sorne currently-known facts about Micah 's time, at the end of the VIII century, during the reign of Ezechias and his peers in Israel, as well as concerning the time of its probable final redactor, during the late Persian Empire's period. Finally, we shall try to situate its authors within that historical context:first, the prophet Micahfrom Moresheth, and, taking into account the entire hypothetical burden of the case, the last editor of the Book of Micah. We shall refer to sorne extent to its denunciation of the social injustice then prevailing, which is easier to comprehendfrom the Jewish monarchy's economic and historical conditions, and the post-exilie Persian Judah.
