-- Fron the years '60 there was a tendency in our american continent to speak in terms of continent of hope because of cultural values well rooted in our culture and appreciated also by persons of other cultures. The results were due to expressions of modernization, assumed by our people as protgonist. Unfortunatly this hope was crushed to avoid a real distribution of power. Christianity was part of this exclusion and rushed as institution. Is there still hope in God? Yes, provided this hope is freely accepted. We must bet for historical fecundity, not first of ali for results. Let us avo id also illusion of not realistic expectations. Let us not identify mesias with people both in marxist ideology or in "criollo" populism. Today, certainly, in our America, grace is abundant, but also abundant is sin. Let us see jive elements which can help to push up our hope.
