EL ACENTO LATINO DEDUCIDO POR EL ACENTO CASTELLANO, Y VICEVERSA, EN PALABRAS DE ORIGEN LATINO Y GRIEGO

Resumen

-- In Latin there was no need of syllable accent or stress, but it is possible to infer what the emphasis of a Latín word was by comparing it with its equal word in Spanish, as a derived tangue from Latín. On the other hand, in Spanish we have many greek words or derived from Greek, many of them were introduced to Latín two thousand years ago and were adapted to the latín accent, which it is still kept in Spanish. Therefore, it is possible to predict how a greek word is stressed as meanings of how it is incorporated into the Spanish common usage.
