SOBRE LA FUNDAMENTACIÓN ONTOLÓGICA DE LA ECLESIOLOGÍA DE LA COMUNIÓN*

Resumen

-- The purpose of this paper is to explore the roots of communion ecclesiology in ontological reflection. It is my contention that this analysis is necessary so as to avo id reducing the models of the church in sociological sense, letting aside that which is central to the Christian conscience: the notion of a person who has been recreated in Christ and,from this point of departure on, can relate as a Christian with anyone else. I explore this idea, in particular, in an important document: Hans Urs van Balthasar's Programme far Communio. The centrality of the idea of an ontological foundation far the rationale of this Programme is such, that one cannot but pay attention to what it is implied there and to the consequences it had far the disident group that left Concilium.
