-- The essay begins reflecting the present practice of merey, as it is perceived and understood. This does not mean that it is considered, in our society, as a fundamental and distinctive value of human existence, rather than a residual attitude. We will research the christian sources to rediscover that at the beginning we find the attitude of sympathy and affection, followed later by merey. Such it is in God and in Jesus. Tñe Holy Spirit does not add new contents to this theme, but the form and possibility of practicing this specific relation. Attentively it is studied the step in the primitive Church, thanks to the action of the Spirit, of the differences like discrimination source to the differences like complementation. Tñe place is final/y studied that should occupy today the sympathy and the merey, in obedience to the Spirit; this through three chapters: to work for the recognition and the inclusion of the other ones, • to evangelize Jesus' maternal F ather and to live the fraternity of the daughters and children of God.
