-- Sorne decades ago, specially in the '70s, political crisis occurring in the world -in western as well as in eastern societies- led to a first spot the appearance of a new scenario different from all well-known ones: the "civil society". However, this "civil society" was nota new idea, it hada history and, as epistemology has shown, every concept keeps its different meanings throughout time, although suffering from several transformations. It would be sufficient example to mention the current meanings of the word "culture" from agriculture to "corporate culture". Therefore, the "civil society" concept emergence equals to the emergence of an island. The island does not float on water, as it is the peak of a submarine mountain. Here we will try to character the "civil society"'s submarine mountain, its matching dialectic with the political society, a fact that prevents us from dealing one without the other. As in its turn, we
will show in a brief remark a new island emerging very closely to the political character of the "civil society": the current life society.
